Synopsis
A wall of five meters high now cuts through Europe’s last primeval forest, between Poland and Belarus. What does such a border made of steel and concrete do to the people who must cross it in search of refuge? What are the effects on an environment whose interconnected paths and relationships, woven over time, are now cut off? Everywhere in the forest today, there are traces of violence. The people we follow in our film enact survival strategies, offering testimony and solidarity against the brutality of the border regime.
